Talang Dalisay had the pleasure of being invited to Netflix and EON Group’s latest project to promote mental health awareness here in the Philippines! It was truly an honor to be with some of the most influential leaders and advocates of mental health pioneers in the country.
The campaign is entitled “Truth be told”. From the title itself, the aim of the project is to spontaneously make the six interviewees open up about the mental health. The idea is to get a sense of raw empowerment through simple words that can help viewers to become aware of their overall wellness.
It was amazing to get the chance to meet so many beautiful people and witness their amazing stories. I listened to my fellow interviewees very meticulously as they shared their life stories, advice, and the dreams they had for the Philippines. I am so grateful to have met these wonderful people. I am forever inspired by their strength, courage, and faith to change the world in their own way.
I was able to realize that you have to really start loving yourself before loving others, and to be fully aware that physical and mental health is of equal importance. I was able to learn more about the youth, and how aggressive and dynamic we are. I discovered the ins and outs of self care. I realized that we live for the intangibles; the things we cannot see, but feel; like love, hope, and joy. Through this experience, I truly realized what it means to be human and what it means to live a life to its fullest potential.
I just want to thank the whole EON Group again for your kindness and openness throughout the whole shooting process! Thank you Pamela for inviting Talang Dalisay over. Thank you to direct, the makeup, hair, & style team, camera crew Javi & Kani, Doctor Ronald Del Castillo for being an awesome interviewer, and of course my fellow interviewees Kenny, Kana, Riyan, Dana, and Kylie. Thank you also to Michael for being a cool Instagram boyfriend and supporter to Kylie!
